⚾ Baseball Poetry: An Open Mic Event

Join us for our annual, highly anticipated Baseball Poetry event! Woodbury, Connecticut Poet Laureate Sandy Carlson returns as host for this unique celebration of baseball, writing, and community.

Whether you are a seasoned poet, a casual writer, or simply a fan of the game, this event offers a wonderful opportunity to share and enjoy creative works inspired by the crack of the bat, the smell of the grass, or the nostalgia of summer.

Open Mic & Community Reading

The evening includes an Open Mic session where you are invited to share your own baseball-themed poems or writings. We will also host a special community reading of the classic poem, Casey at the Bat, inviting all attendees to participate!
