Workshop led by Susan Powers. Susan Powers is the inaugural Poet Laureate of Scotland, Connecticut, a published poet, and a lifelong educator. She holds an M.A. in English Literature and Creative Writing from Ohio University and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Saybrook Institute. Her poetry has appeared in Tiferet, Sixfold, the Orenaug Mountain Journal, and other publications. Her chapbook, Break the Spell, was published by New London Librarium. Drawing inspiration from the natural surroundings of her home in Scotland, Susan also promotes literacy and a love of poetry through workshops in schools and libraries throughout the community.
