Celebrate April Poetry Month, our popular 2nd Sunday event featuring poet Margaret Plaganis and Deborah Nash Ott
Margaret Plaganis is a visual artist, writer, educator, and passionate gardener. Her writing is published in Pure Slush Lifespan Anthologies and Wordpeace.co:, an online journal. She lives in West Hartford.
Deborah Nash Ott is originally from Rochester, New York but lived and worked abroad for many years. Her poems have been published in small presses in the United States and Switzerland including most recently in The Connecticut Bards Poetry Review. In October of 2025, Grayson Books published her first collection, Occasional Grace, and one of her poems was recently nominated for the Pushcart Prize. Deborah loves the writing life and deeply values the connections she has made with fellow poets. She lives and writes in West Hartford, Connecticut.
