This month’s feature is Rick Magee, an English professor at Sacred Heart University, Poet Laureate emeritus of Bethel, and the secretary of the Council of Connecticut Poets Laureate. Rick started writing poetry when he was nine, but took a too-long break from it while in college and graduate school. A few years ago he went back to poetry and has been having a wonderful time writing and talking to people about poetry.

I have seen him read several times, a gifted poet, engaging presence, and it is a pleasure to welcome him to the gallery for our 2nd Sunday program.
