David Cappella: David Cappella’s Farther//Father//Further, his latest chapbook, has been accepted for publication with Bottlecap Press. The first two poems of which will appear in the next volume of Voices in Italian Americana. His sonnet cycle, Giacomo: A Solitaire’s Opera, appeared in Italy as a bi-lingual edition with puntoacapo Editrice in November 2021, the stateside version in June 2022 with Červená Barva Press. The first twenty-six poems from this sonnet cycle won the 2006 Bright Hill Press Poetry Chapbook Award. His novel, Kindling (Piscataqua Press, 2015), has been called “a powerful and devastating coming-of-age story.” He has co-authored two poetry textbooks, Teaching the Art of Poetry: The Moves and A Surge of Language. He is currently working on a memoir, Tugging the Mayflower Home.
Steven Ostrowski: Steven Ostrowski is a widely-published poet, fiction writer, painter and songwriter. His novel, The Highway of Spirit and Bone, was published in 2023 by Lefora Publications and has been called “…a literary road trip for the ages.” His poetry chapbook, Persons of Interest, won the 2021 Wofson Chapbook Prize and was published in 2022. Steven and his son Ben coauthored a full-length collaboration called Penultimate Human Constellation, published in 2018 by Tolsun Books. Steven’s newest book of poems, Life Field, was published in early 2024. His paintings have been published in Lily Poetry Review, Stone Boat, Another Chicago Magazine, and many other literary journals. He is Professor Emeritus at Central Connecticut State University.
