Whimsical Kats - Meet the Artist

For many years, Al enjoyed a lovely calico cat named Katy, with all the quirks and distinctions cats are known for. She lived a long, happy life. In a detour from realistic paintings, Al began sketching cat shapes with bold, vivid lines that developed into vibrantly colored visuals; fanciful and enchanting. The cats, of course, are center stage, (as they are in life), in each portrayal. The goal is to create fanciful, whimsical Kats by using various textures, shapes, color, and scenes.
